🚨MAJOR WITHDRAWAL FROM THE 𝙋𝙍𝙊𝙑𝙄𝙏𝘼𝙇 𝘽𝘼𝘾𝙆𝙔𝘼𝙍𝘿 𝙐𝙇𝙏𝙍𝘼 – 𝙂𝙍𝘼𝙉 𝘾𝘼𝙉𝘼𝙍𝙄𝘼🚨

One of the biggest names of this edition will not be on the start line.

Raúl “El Kapi”, one of our most beloved Puntales, has officially confirmed that he will not be able to take part in the PROVITAL Backyard Ultra – Gran Canaria.

His goal this year was huge…

👉 to find his limit
👉 to see both sunrise and sunset while still racing
👉 to fight for 48 hours
👉 and once again show what he is made of.

After several weeks dealing with health problems following a flu/viral illness, “El Kapi” has been unable to complete his preparation as planned and, with the honesty and humility that define him, has decided to step aside.

His own words perfectly reflect the Backyard spirit:

“We know there are no excuses in a Backyard… it gradually shows us where our mental and physical limits really are.”

From everyone in the organisation, we want to send him all our strength and make one thing clear:
